LabVIEW 2010 has just been released by National Instruments check the links below for the latest features.
Highlights:
Similar to Network Shared Variables but optimized to support continuous, lossless one-to-one data transfer. Ideally suited to data acquisition systems where every data point must be transmitted.

Boolean Constants
A user submitted idea that seems incredibly obvious in hindsight, the boolean True and False block diagram constants are now half the size and only display T or F. Brilliant simplicity.

For those of us who use a lot of clusters, the constants can be quite unwieldy. LabVIEW 2010 now allows you to view the cluster constant as an icon on the block diagram.

Shared Variable Typedef support
The Network Shared Variable continues to improve with each LabVIEW release. Now you can bind a variable to a typedef and it will correctly update without needing to be re-created.
To improve block diagram documentation, you can now label a block diagram wire to identify its use. Right-click the wire and select Visible Items->Label.

LabVIEW packed project libraries can shorten build time by packaging multiple VIs into a single compiled file.
Several useful additions, but <Ctrl-I> to insert the selected object on the wires you select will be a nice time-saver.

Protecting your company's information is critical, and simple password protection is generally not good enough. Enter on-the-fly software encryption.
There are a number of free and paid options available, but one we have grown to use and trust is TrueCrypt, a FOSS encryption utility. It is an ideal solution to protect data on a removable flash drive.

From their website:
